About us

This website is run by Off-Grid Essentials, Queens Park Road, Blackburn, BB1 1SE, United Kingdom. Email: returns@offgridelectrics.org. These terms apply to every order you place with us.

Your order

When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging it. A contract between us is formed when we confirm your order has been dispatched. If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock or the price was shown incorrectly, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (£). Delivery is £3.99 per order, or free on orders over £30, and is shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken securely by our payment provider when you place your order. We never see or store your full card details.

Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only. Delivery times are shown on our Delivery page. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us.

Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive your goods. Full details of how to cancel and return items are on our Returns and Refunds page.

Faulty or incorrect items

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If an item is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Please contact us as soon as you notice a problem.

Product information

We make every effort to describe and show our products accurately. Colours on screen may vary slightly from the actual item. Please follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety information supplied with each product, especially for rechargeable batteries, power banks and hand-crank devices.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Your information

We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of those countries.
